Magical Cocora & Waterfall Xperience combines two of the most attractive natural landscapes in Quindío into a 7 to 8-hour day tour. The adventure begins at 7:30 a.m. with hotel pickup in Salento and transfer in a traditional Jeep from the region.
The first stop will be the Cocora Valley. There, you will enjoy approximately three hours inside the Bosque de Palmas Natural Park, accompanied by a local guide. You will be able to walk among mountains, admire the wax palms, breathe fresh air, and take photos of one of Colombia’s most iconic landscapes.
When finished, we will stop at a traditional restaurant. Lunch is not included, so each traveler can choose and pay for their meal directly.
Afterwards, we will continue to the Santa Rita Waterfalls. You will take an approximately one-hour walk along trails surrounded by natural forest until reaching its crystal-clear waters and natural pools. It will be an ideal setting to rest, cool off, and enjoy the environment.
We will start the adventure directly at your hotel in Salento. Our guide and transportation in a traditional Jeep from the region will pick you up to begin the journey to the Cocora Valley.
Upon arrival, you will receive initial instructions from the guide, a bottle of water, and the necessary information to safely enjoy the tour through the Bosque de Palmas Natural Park.
We will enter the Wax Palm Forest to hike among mountains, admire the wax palms, and enjoy its natural viewpoints. You will have time to rest, breathe fresh air, and take photos of the landscape.
At the end of the tour, we will visit a traditional local restaurant. Each traveler can select their lunch and pay for their meal directly at the establishment.
We will continue our journey by Jeep towards the Santa Rita Waterfalls, a natural setting surrounded by vegetation, rural trails, and characteristic landscapes of the coffee region.
We will hike through natural forest, trails, and lush vegetation until reaching the waterfalls. During the tour, you can appreciate the biodiversity and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature.
Upon arrival, you will have time to contemplate the crystal-clear waters, take photos, rest, and, if you wish, enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pools.
After enjoying the waterfalls, we will begin our return journey by Jeep to your hotel in Salento, concluding a full day surrounded by wax palms, mountains, trails, and natural waters.
